Some information about the catalan language: Catalan is the mother tongue of some 6 milion people in Catalonia, Valencia and Balearic Islands in Spain, in Andorra, in Nord Catalonia in the south of France and in the city of l'Alger in the island of Sardinia. Some famous catalan native speakers are: The Borja family, with its popes Calixt III and Alexander VI, Cesar and Lucrecia Borja, the architect Antoni Gaudi and the painters Joan Miro and Salvador Dali.

Note: There are some web pages (like Launchpad Translations) that allow to translate KDE software. You should not use them since those translations are not shared with the rest of the community. If in doubt, please do not hesitate to mail the kde-i18n-doc mailing list.
